Answer: The sausage seasoning kits were reformulated in our lab and the binder has been removed. The binder makes up the majority of the decrease in the package weight. However, the binder does not affect taste. Now, you are using only the seasoning blend to make the most flavourful batch of sausage for your money.


Question: The back of the Wild West jerky bag says open the package and find the small package inside. What does this mean?
Answer: It means the cure packet is sealed inside the bag.

Question: Why is my jerky white and tastes salty?
Answer: Using too much seasoning for the amount of meat causes the jerky to have a white appearance and a salty taste.
 

Question: Why do I have to add water to ground meat jerky?
Answer: Adding water aids in the distribution of seasonings and cure. If using a jerky shooter it will help lubricate the meat for easy extrusion.
 

Question: Do any of your products contain MSG?
