Stuffed Green Peppers

Excellent dish to have in the freezer, for that unexpected company.

8 - 10 large green peppers
1 pound  (500 g)  ground  lean beef
½ pound (250 g) ground lean pork
1 cup (250 ml) rice
3 tsp ( 45 ml)  Pepper blend meat marinade
½ medium onion chopped
salt if desired
1 can of tomato soup

Method: Cut the tops of the peppers and hollow out the seeds.  Set aside.  Cook the rice according to package directions. Cool slightly.   In large bowl place the ground meat, onion, and pepper blend seasoning, add rice. Mix well. Stuff into the peppers and place in a roaster. Pour tomato soup over the peppers. Cover and bake in 350 oven for 1 hour. Freezes well.
