Company History

We produce and market high quality seasonings for our customers to enjoy a great experience adding flavour and zest to your meals and snacks.

In 1995 Rod & Jan Schwartz launched  Schwartz Sausage Company Inc. currently doing business as Wild West Seasonings. Rod’s background as a hunter, fisherman and entrepreneur provided the expertise that launched his impressive secret recipes to process jerky and sausage. Our Traditional jerky cure & seasoning has received rave reviews and was used to win the “Grand Champion Beef Jerky” at Western Canadian Agribition in 1997 and again in 2000.

The original product lines have been continually expanding with new varieties drawn from customer demand and feedback.

The company expanded in 1997 with the purchase of a high speed packaging machine. This improved efficiencies and also enabled Wild West to offer custom packing to other food processors.

As a family owned business, their son Dallas Schwartz, joined the company in 2001 as Operations Manager.

Today Wild West Seasonings market their products in Canada, United States, and internationally. Our vision is to provide excellent products, and service to our customers.
